Ledger Integration
Ribbit will support direct integration with Ledger hardware wallets. This gives users the option to manage their cold wallets through the Ribbit app without compromising on security. Hardware wallets are widely trusted in the crypto space because the private keys never leave the device. With this integration, Ribbit users can access advanced protection while still enjoying a smooth and mobile-first experience.
Users will be able to connect their Ledger device, view balances, and approve transactions directly through the app. This helps combine the safety of cold storage with the convenience of a modern wallet interface.
Ledger support also adds flexibility for users who keep large balances in long-term storage. They can monitor their assets, receive tokens, and sign transactions only when needed. Ribbit will never store private keys or sensitive access data from any hardware wallet.
Multi-signature wallet compatibility will also be supported. This allows teams or partners to manage a shared wallet where multiple approvals are required for transactions. It is a useful feature for DAOs, shared funds, or multi-party custody setups.
By supporting both individual and shared wallet security models, Ribbit moves closer to becoming the primary wallet for both casual users and serious crypto participants.
